Dues. What do they get me?

Do I need to buy gear?

Nope! After safety and inclusivity, our biggest goal as a club is to lower the barrier of entry to outdoor activities. We understand that the cost of starting a new hobby can be daunting, so we have a gear rental system available for all dues-paying members. To rent gear, stop by during office hours, let us know what you need, and pay a $20 deposit (zelle or cash/check). Once the gear is returned to us, we will give you your deposit back.

What are waivers? How do I sign one?

Safety and preparedness come first on every adventure. Our member waiver is a standard liability release acknowledging the inherent risks of outdoor exploration, such as rugged terrain and unpredictable weather. It also gathers your emergency contact and basic insurance information so trip leads can coordinate care quickly if an emergency occurs. To keep our safety records current, this form must be signed in person and renewed every calendar year, remaining valid for two consecutive semesters before you head out on any trips.
